we were looking for a local for a Christmas party and recommended the postwirt in madlach. so to the rehearsal . was super tasty, but all dishes were no longer perfect hot. beyond that, the service was extremely rare to see and by itself it did not come at all, only when we called. the local looks great, everything just renovated. when they come in, there is an open fireplace on the left side, a bistro on the back where they sit a little shielded and in the “center” it is like a typical Bavarian economy – but only modern. there is also a winter garden. OK place close to the highway, so it's quite conveniente when travelling. The schnitzel and soup were ok (although a bit too thin), but the spare ribs were very poor. Totally dry and you couls see they were reheated several times. The portions are big though so definitely quantity over quality. The ambient is nice, at least outside, where you can sit under a large tree. Waitress was pleasant snd she spoke enough English. Compliments on the fast service.
A group of buddies and I stayed at the Postwirt Hotel and enjoyed an excellent dinner here. I found the portions to be very generous, but think there was room for improvement on the taste of the actual dishes as they were a bit bland. We were all very happy, though, with our meal, but the Schnitzel (which none of us could finish at one sitting) did hit a little heavy.
we were just one night in the hotel. personally very friendly, if there were also some difficulties of communication at the order. breakfast for 17.50€ nothing special. room in 90s style, but clean. no second visit

Food was ok, but nothing nothing more. Service was really slow and not very friendly even not is you are used to german service. There are much better places in the region (Deisenhofen, Aying, Arget)
we have tried the order of eating with pickup. the food was ready to pick up in no time and also until everything was packed and prepared was hot. works great and also tasted very good.
Very delicious food, staff is friendly and fast. Very recommended. Thank God was on the highway traffic jam, otherwise we would not have discovered this great place.
very friendly service, regional food in large selection in the offer. beautiful beer garden and rustic dining rooms. all the foods were fresh and tasty prepared.

The schnitzel was good but not amazing: crust too thick, meat not very tender. Big portions though.
