I was scrolling through youtube and saw a review on this place and immediately sent Buttercup the menu and made dinner plans I had to try. We decide what we want, and get in the car. about 1/2 way to Whittier we try to call in our order and the recording says they are only taking walk in orders. That makes sense it was 6:00 on a Saturday night. So we drive there and the plan is to order Shrimp Fried Rice, Orange Chik'n and Spicy Garlic Chik'n it seemed like we couldn't order combo plates. Well I get to the front of the line and they ask if I want combo I panic and say yes. So my Panic Order ended up being 3 combos Rice and Chowmien with: Orange Chik'n, Kung Pow Chik'n and Mongolian Beef I al...

I've been tracking a woks on instagram for a long time, regrettably, finally tasting the vegan dishes. I feel like plant-based eaters are so eager for options that we see that any option is a present. this place is not this gift. it had less vegan options than the menu promised and the service was less than friendly. I got the vegan orange huh and the vegan kung pao; both more tasteless and disappointing...and expensive. it was $17 for the combo for the take-out! it is a scandal that places like bodhi lunar firm 't survive the pandemic and that is what we have left. I guess if companies offer vegan options; it is imperative, but that these options are satisfied. eating was really in comparis...

This was our first time here and we drove from Yucaipa which is about 1hr with no traffic. Thank goodness we went on a Sunday so we were lucky. We ordered the Vegan Orange Chicken and the Vegan Broccoli Beef and a plate of Vegan Chow Mein. It was about $50 and the portions are large enough that we were able to get 2 full meals out of it. We had a few bites before heading home to taste it warm and fresh. It held up pretty well. Can’t wait to try more dishes next time we are in the area. Updated from previous review on 2021-05-26

When I used to order the vegan boneless wings and fries it would be crispy and cooked well. Lately anytime I order it it’s always soggy and the fries are cold like they weren’t cooked or fried properly. Idk what happened, or if there have been changes in who has been cooking it but I want them to know they’ve been doing a terrible job and should get it together. I got it the other day and had to put the meal in the air fryer because it wasn’t cooked all the way through. Please do better.

The food is honestly not that great. The extra charge for usage of credit card is outrageous. They charge a dollar fee. I’m okay if they don’t have a friendly attitude, but when the food is not as good and pricey then it’s a big no to me. The prices are not true to the sign, yes there’s taxes involved but it is a bit too exaggerated to what they charge. Vegetarian options: Nope. It did not sit well in my stomach either and I’m vegan.

I ordered the vegan combo (chow mien and rice with spicy garlic mock chicken). The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything worth getting excited about, either. The wait for my food was also pretty long, about 25 minutes. From now I'm going to take my business to purely vegan restaurants as opposed to restaurants with some vegan options. I would feel much better supporting those businesses instead.

This place gives me life. No it’s not all vegan but they are serving all the things I remember getting at my local takeaway as a kid. It’s flavoured just right. Honestly if you’re missing Chinese food as a vegan or vegetarian this is the place to eat. My favourite was the broccoli “beef.” Updated from previous review on 2021-08-29

Way better than Panda! Less greasy with probably better ingredients too. And they pack the box with a generous amount. This has been my go-to for a couple years now. A little more pricy than other spots but def worth it!

Delicious as always but waited 36 mins for our food this last time. Huge portions and probably my favorite vegan Chinese food. It’s worth it if you aren’t in a rush!
