Potter's Place And Two-nine Martini Lounge

We came here with friends who recommended Potter’s. There was live music in the tent area and the band was very good, but a bit loud for the enclosed space. Service was above average, but with the music it was hard to hear people talk. The food was average overall. Decent portion sizes but the food was not hot when it came out, the texture of the shredded beef was too tough and stringy, and the pricing for the taco platter was surprisingly high for a limited amount of toppings.

I was enjoying the atmosphere, beer and a Christmas tree Burrito yesterday 04-14-2024 between 5 and 7pm. A manager was yelling in a very loud condescending way to a young bartender causing the bartender to become visually upset he sent the bartender home. This was all done directly behind the bar in front of customer's. This was bullying poor managing and unprofessional by the manager. He need anger management and to tone it down a notch or two.

My wife and I were walking around downtown Naperville and saw that this restaurant had lots of people and live band. We decide to have dinner there.It was a wrong decision, we ordered homemade guacamole and fajitas. The food was bland, it did not even have salt. The vegetables in fajita were soggy and stale. Guacamole was just mashed Avocado.The basket had few whole chips rest were small pieces. This was the worst food I have ever had.

I'm sorry but your food is awful. No flavor.What so ever. This restaurant doesn't even serve any kind of salsa for your food.I order taco salad. My son a steak fajita. My uncle tacos at pastor.And nothing was good.Serves don't come to the table..They get distracted.The guacamole is not fresh.Can guacamole. Rice.Beans etc.No bueno. ? Reserva una mesa ahora

One of my friends had a TVDL (Temporary Visitor Driver's License) ID. Unfortunately, he was not allowed entry by the female bouncer at the restaurant. However, all the other bars in Naperville did not have a problem with his ID, except for Potter's. Surprisingly, even clubs in the city were willing to let him in.

I really enjoyed the ambiance and live music at this restaurant. However, I was disappointed with the food. I ordered the skirt steak tacos and found the meat to be tough and resembling round beef. The drinks were also lacking in alcohol, with lots of ice and served in small glasses.

Driest chicken I was ever served. It shouldn’t have left the kitchen. Slow service. Expensive, weak drinks. The patio is nice.
