I will start by saying how great the food is because in the end that is probably the most important thing. The ingredients are fresh and well cooked. There are ample servings of the meat in the dishes and fresh spices are added (ie. lemongrass pieces, kaffir lime etcc.. clearly visible in each dish). The dishes all came out at the same time for each table (important for large tables), and the staff were attentive and accommodating. One qualm I do have is that the waiter/owner was a little too intrusive on people who were in the middle of having conversations. Hubby and friend and I went to Pranee Thai because it is close to friend's house, and because she recommended it. The food was lovely and the wait staff were attentive. Our drinks (Thai beer for two and wine for one) appeared promptly, and the food soon after that, despite the large party (about 30) at the next tables. The food servings looked small, but weren't—there was plenty for the three of us. I really was too full for dessert, but as I am a dessert girl I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try the sticky rice with pandan custard and coconut ice cream—all made in-house by Pranee herself. Have been here twice now. First time I took my daughter on the recommendations on Trip Adivsor. It was so good I took the rest of the family the next time! This is authentic Thai food prepared by a Thai chef. The menu isn't extensive so the dishes that are prepared are fantastic. They are very generous too - so make sure you're hungry when you go. My husband had Pepper Pork on the most recent visit and he found it amazing. I had the green chicken curry and it is to die for. My daughter had the basil chicken which she very much enjoyed. Fabulous, fresh and authentic food here, highly recommend it. Licensed or byo. Here's a tip tho - after the older gentleman gives you the low-down on the menu and specials, try not to get into conversation with him - you won't be able to shake him off! A small restaurant with plenty of other diners around, we attended an impromptu get together for 13 people on a Wednesday evening which was easily catered for. Food was authentic and excellent, service was attentive and the pricing very reasonable. BYO with no corkage was another another plus point although it is licensed and has plenty of selection. A great little resturant.

Been there a few times now, a must restaurant to go each time we are in Adelaide. I had "Gang Jued Pak (vegetable soup) WOW fresh, full of flavor, hot and just a hint of spice and coriander. Main was Green Chicken Curry and that's all I could fit in, Lyn (my wife) had puffs for entrée and Chicken & Prawns Phad Thai Noodles. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant is a gem. The food was very fresh, sauces made in the kitchen, beautiful curries.I recommend the entrees. The mixed platter we had was fresh, a bit spicy. The fish cakes were the best I've tasted.John, the host, was very helpful, funny, and attentive. Pranee does all the work in the kitchen. Prices are very reasonable, and its BYO.

Unforgettably great food with attentive service. Entrees are a must, homemade. Haven't found a mains we don't like. But we always save room for a little banana fritter and homemade coconut ice cream (we order this at the beginning so we don't miss out ). We are repeat guests Reserva una mesa ahora

We spent a quiet Sunday evening here while on vacation and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality of this local gem. The food was excellent, service was easy, polite and not pushy. definitely worth a visit if you are nearby!

What a great meal and reasonably priced. Outstanding green chicken and beef massaman curry and very tasty tamarind duck. John, the owner, made us feel super welcome and the staff were excellent too.
