Was hoping for a less diner-like experience for a rare Sunday date day without the kiddo. It was our first time there so didn’t realize it was more of a family/kids type of vibe on Sundays. I’d indicated on our reservation that the occasion was a date, but we were still seated right in the front by the hostess stand next to a large party with kids. Our server couldn’t be less interested in us or our experience. The most attention we got was the countless times they tried to clear my unfinished plate if I dared to put my fork down for a moment to talk. we wanted to celebrate their birthday on a Sunday on the morning. it was very crowded, but we sat right because we had a reservation. service was nice and they examined someone who was with us who has very specific restrictive nutrition problems. Typically, you eat in a restaurant dirty and not very exciting. but because she could take her she enjoyed her meal very much and that made the experience even better will definitely be back.
