Premier Inn Thurrock East

The rooms are great and spacious. In the US, rooms come with iron, ironing boards, and microwaves. Not so here. I can not believe that the room also lacks basic things such as body cream, tissue paper, and telephone. The staff are generally good-natured and ready to help. One was so very good that when I requested a microwave, she volunteered to allow me to use staffers' own. On the first day, I was woken from my sleep by a boom noise from my sleep. No words spoken and not a single visitation or notice to lodger. On the third day, we all fled our rooms when, in the middle of the night, another loud noise rend the air. I checked in here very late at night but the man on reception was there ready to check me in. He was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and well stocked with everything I needed. There is a lot of parking here. I was here to visit my son who lives just round the corner. On the Monday morning he met me here for breakfast on his way to work. The service was good its a complete buffet style so no waiting for drinks or cooked breakfast like it is in some places. The food was good. As my son lives near here I will be staying at this Premier Inn again and will have no qualms about doing so.

I would just like to commend the lady with blond hair on the front desk (apologies I don’t get her name) having been served a plate of bad luck the day we arrived from when we left the house, to arrival. This kind staff member went out of her way to resolve the issue with complete professionalism. Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to our daughter being unwell, but gratitude should be showed when deserved. Great staff members like this make a hotel in my opinion!! Many thanks.

Stayed last night after a day's shopping. Very convenient for lakeside . Rooms were clean and usual comfy beds . Only thing that spoiled it was the unwelcoming welcome by the young lady at reception. Perhaps she was having a bad day but please greet your guests with a smile and polite conversation Makes all the difference and you are the first person we see as we arrive. Lady on departure was very friendly .

Everything you would expect from a premier inn, fab location, fab staff, and the room was spotless Would have given 5 stars except our room (111) is right next to a corridor and a door which you can hear everytime someone past our room and went through it as it obviously makes a noise when shutting!! So didn't get the usual premier inn good sleep because of it. Food at next door brewers fayre was OK also.

Manager very helpful. Accessibility room excellent. However location of the room poor. For people who are elderly with poor mobility, the room was too far from the car park, reception and restaurant. These rooms should be closer to the front of the hotel

A pleasant, convenient place to stay when visiting family. There was talk by the staff of plans to bring in a scheme to have to pay £5 for 24hrs to park outside. I think that's a cheek as it adds to the cost of staying there.

Typical premier inn, clean tidy, friendly staff. Strong smell of green in the hall, but that's kind of become the norm in premier and travel lodges in my experience

Hotel was great jusy dont park van in the car park. We got broken into. Not enough cameras in car park at later inspection. Unfortunately wont be staying again

Great friendly staff. The brewers fayre pub reasonably priced for some really good tasty food.
