Premiere Ballroom & Convention Centre

I helped organize a wedding at this venue in September 2023 and had a great experience. Our venue coordinator, Annie, was very attentive and the entire team was efficient in serving over 200 guests a 10-course meal. The food was delicious and everyone was satisfied by the 5th or 6th course, with the option to take leftovers home. The venue itself was charming, though a bit outdated. There were some broken doors at the entrance and unfortunately, a deceased animal, which was not a pleasant sight. Despite these small issues, I still recommend this venue. I've visited Premiere Ballroom for both dim sum and for a wedding. There are plenty of seats, so I've never had to wait in line for dim sum. While the service has been good, the food is just mediocre. The price is on the higher end, so I feel like you're paying more to be in a larger venue and surrounded by nicer decor. I heard they are actually closing down and will reopen as a seafood restaurant, so check it out while it's still operating.

Good for big tables. Gaudy, European-esque interiors (designed by old HKers, probably), which I actually kind of enjoyed? My family wasn’t very happy with the service, but personally I give grumpy service a pass when it looks like the place is a nightmare to work at. Dim sum is good but some of the dishes were a miss/better at other places.Overall: decent dim sum! Not as expensive as some other places in the area.

I had a very negative experience at this restaurant. The servers were extremely rude and unhelpful, and even demanded extra tips. They all seemed unhappy to be working there and serving customers. The food was terrible, with three small dumplings costing $10 - definitely not worth the price. It's hard to believe that a place like this can stay in the restaurant business.

This is one of my favorite dim sum restaurants. The service is always good. I I alway enjoyed their dim sum. High quality. The space is big and very high ceilings. Decorating western arts but it’s an exotic Chinese restaurant.
