We visited in April after putting this on the list of place to go for a long time. Right at the entrance, they had all sorts of aged meats and such. They had a small counter at the back to order and or pick up your meat to go. We were there for 12 noon reservation, on Sunday, it was empty and quiet. We ordered Coffee and they brought out some chips and dips. The dips were house made onion dips, from what I understand, and pretty darn tasty. Coffee came with free refill, which was great. My girlfriend took me here for my birthday. The staff are nice however for the price of what you're paying, the service does not add up. In the midst of shuffling the food and attaching an additional table, one of the servers took our wine bottle that was half full. Understandably, it is super busy and it is not easy being a waitress, but we never saw that nice wine bottle again. When we raised the issue, the entire staff ignored it, the manager was nowhere to be found and the staff awkwardly tip toed around our table. There was no responsibility taken for a bad experience. Low profile, high quality prime and dry aged beef. Straightforward menu, BYOB strikes a nice balance between decadence and chill. Parking lot is limited but decent street parking in the area. Dinner service was incredibly prompt on recent visit, place was medium busy but picking up. The bests Staek in NJ for 20 year been really good it has never change the owner is the kindnesses person, Staek it’s also so delicious.
