Prime On Avenue - Reserva de mesa

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and initially thought we had a nice experience, with the food being decent for the price. However, we later discovered that we were charged significantly more than we expected. Upon reviewing the bill, we realized we were billed an extra 7%. After looking through some other reviews, we found out that they charge a 20% tax instead of the usual 13%. I haven't seen any other restaurants in Niagara Falls with such a high tax rate, except for Prime Steak House. I'm writing this review to inform others so they can make an informed decision, as we were not aware of this discrepancy.

Awful and overpriced restaurant. I was served cold bread to start. After waiting 45 minutes, I had to plead with the waiter just to receive water. I ordered the market steak for $95, and it had hardly any meat on it—I left feeling hungry. The taste was reminiscent of low-quality dog food. There's no side dish included with the main course, and my meal took an hour and a half to arrive. This is the worst value I’ve ever encountered. Stay away!

Came for an anniversary dinner. Service was excellent, salad and steak was superb. Our waiter was very attentive and brought us a variety of yummy sauces. I was disappointed with the smoked meat. At 100$ a dish it needs to be tender and flavorful, half the meat was dry and some even burnt. definitely not melt in your mouth as promised. Overall great food, large portions and nice ambience.

recently hosted a dinner for 7 persons. Steve and Rita, our servers were outstanding. They were both attentive and professional. One guest had certain food allergies and Steve and Rita and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to ensure my guests food contained neither offending food item. We were disappointed today. The restaurant was overbooked and our food order came to us cold. The wait staff did their best to smooth over the situation, but when you pay prime avenue prices, the expectation is for much better.

This restaurant is fantastic! The food was exceptional, and the meat was incredibly flavorful. Our waiter, Sardar, was outstanding and truly enhanced our dining experience.
