This restaurant is owned and run by Endrit and Monika see also reviews of the excellent Luna Cafe in Ewell). They have recently taken over at Primo and I have to say the food is just as good. The restaurant is clean and bright and very welcoming. The food is delicious, I had the sea bass, and my OH had Pollo Proscuitto, both were generous portions, Monika will serve smaller portions as required, but the fish was so lovely I ate the lot, luckily we were walking home. There is free parking outside on a first come basis but the 406 and 418 bus also run very nearby. The prices are reasonable for such good quality fare and the house red was just fine. They also do take away and outside catering which I fully intend to try.
Decided to try this new restaurant in the week as it has just opened. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. We had anti pasti selection to start followed by risotto. As everything is cooked fresh and to order I was able to order mine without mint. The house white wine was very nice and reasonably priced. They only serve wine and beer at the moment, no spirits. Also we had to pay cash as their card machine hadn't arrived- but this wasn't a problem as I knew this in advance, and there are free cash facilities nearby. The couple who own it are very friendly and welcoming and I look forward to my next visit.
We went to Monika and Endrit 's restaurant when they first opened. The food was delicious then, and we 've been back there tonight for a cheeky mid-week night out, and tonight it was simply divine. I had the Carbonara and my husband had the lemon chicken. It was nice to not have the pasta swimming in cream, it was so much tastier than any pasta I 've tried before, and the vegetables that accompanied the chicken dish were cooked to perfection. They have a brilliant Chef, who definitely knows how to serve love on a plate . Looking forward to another visit in the near future.
