This is a fantastic place! I've visited about 20 times since it opened, including their first Halloween party. The food is excellent, and the bar, restaurant, and patio seating are all very pleasant. The current drink selection is great, although I wish they would bring back the brewery events they used to host. The service is generally good—no complaints there. The only reason I deducted stars is that the upstairs bar is often closed due to staffing issues. It did reopen for a while in late 2020, which was understandable, but since then, it has frequently remained closed.
That was a beautiful brewery that my friend and I stopped on a Friday night. We sat at a high table at the bar. The beer menu had a nice selection of craft beer. We ordered a few different IPA beers to start the evening. The beers tasted great. I really enjoyed her. We then ordered an order of beer Mac and cheese, with roasted chicken above. That was delicious and hit the square. It was a nice part to share between us. Great tasting Mac and cheese from this place. This place also had a beautiful atmosphere and mood. The staff was also great. Overall we had fun here.
Project Pub wasn’t our original choice when we found ourselves navigating the hectic Thanksgiving traffic from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania. However, by the time we were walking back to our car for the final leg of our journey, we jokingly said we should consider moving there just for Shrub Pub. Sitting at the bar, we had a great time chatting with the bartenders and the owners, Max and Rocco. They kept suggesting and serving us an array of delicious food and drinks, and we truly didn’t want the fun to end.

My first experience with Project PUB is during COVID-19 and from the start I am impressed with their efforts to provide a safe and sanitary customer experience. There is plenty of outdoor seating, the staff is very cognizant of personal space (social distancing) and are all wearing masks. The beers on tap are very unique and I'm glad I had the opportunity to try them! I'm not sure I would have easily found them in stores or outside their respective breweries. The pizza
Good food, nice atmosphere, and a great selection of beers and brunch-friendly cocktails and dishes. Great place to eat and drink away a hangover or have a nice brunch get together with friends. Somewhat limited when it comes to options for vegan and vegetarians, but that?s nothing out of the ordinary. Would recommend to a group looking to brunch near the Somerville area.
Lovely brunch! It was so delicious. Our server was attentive and kind and because I don?t drink, I asked the bartender to surprise me with a mocktail. They surely delivered! Husband ordered bulgogi and eggs, and I got the fried chicken benedict. Portions were good and the food was flavorful. Make reservations!
Fantastic brunch destination! I enjoyed a flight of mimosas that were absolutely delightful, paired with the indulgent apple pie French toast. Everything was fresh and expertly prepared—none of it tasted pre-made or out of a can. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was charming.

Project P.U.B. has an incredibly friendly atmosphere with a wide selection of beers on tap. I also recently attended a cocktail class there that was both entertaining and delicious!
Loved the food at Project PUB! I just wish the hours were more accessible. They offered gluten free rolls for the sandwiches and had a wide variety of menu items available.
