The food was quite tasty. The woman at the counter suggested the smash burger, which was delicious, but it turned out to be from a secret menu that we hadn't known about. The tomato soup was flavorful, though the tots were a bit too oily for my liking, yet still enjoyable. When you arrive, make sure to go straight to the counter to place your order. We waited to be seated, but three people cut in front of us to order instead.
The staff was extremely rude to my wife and her service dog. We had previously visited this restaurant without any problems, but this time they forced us to sit in a dark outdoor area or leave the premises. Our service dog was well-behaved, yet they still approached us and essentially asked us to leave. This really spoiled our evening and damaged the trust in the neighborhood regarding service dogs.
I've eaten burgers all across the country and the Salt Creek burger with a side of chipotle might be the best I have ever had! Also more competitive pricing than most of the restaurants in the neighborhood without sacrificing atmosphere. Come on down and enjoy the great drinks, amazing food and lovely atmosphere! You can even bring your dog to the patio :
This was my second visit, and once again, I had a fantastic experience. The food menu offers a wonderful variety without being overwhelming. The beer selection is quite impressive as well, although there may be a bit too much emphasis on IPAs—having 16 out of 20 taps dedicated to IPAs seems excessive. Overall, it's a nice list of beers. The sandwich had so much sauce on it that by the time it arrived, just a mile away, it was so soggy that it fell apart completely, and I ended up tossing the bread. The chicken inside the sandwich was good, but the loaded tater tots turned into a mushy mess and were difficult to eat.
I'll never tip 1st again ! Thank you Project Social Disorder. They lost my order, the Ceaser salad was mostly kale , the burger was ordinary and the price was high. Scip this joint unless you're starving. This restaurant won't be around to much longer.
We ordered delivery from Project Social while staying over in Dana Point. Excellent burgers. Just what we needed after a long drive down Highway 1.
