Proper Ansome Cafe

read that the food was good and they did a big breakfast so i found it ok. car park gets full pretty quick. ordered the biggest breakfast £11.50 which was good value for what you get...3 of everything. food was amazing. NOW the bad news service is attricious after waiting for 20 mins and watching the staff walking around doing nothing I went to the cashier and told her that waiting 20 for breakfast when all the food was already there in containers was a joke and i made sure everybody in the cafe heard me.. amazingly withing 2 mins i was served a delicious breakfast. so simply put put food great service **** !!

Well I thought I had to write this review because of being turned away from this restaurant for hot food. The sign on the door stated they stop hot food half an hour before close at 2.30pm. We arrived at about 1.45 pm found a seat and looked at the menu and chose what to have and went to place my order. I waited for another customer to finish his order and was served. The lady immediately stated they were no longer taking orders for hot food and went on to say they had a back log of orders. I left at 1.50 pm. Poor service to say the least.

Went in today for lunch, it appeared very busy, we ordered our food and drinks, ok so it took a little time to come, but it's cooked fresh, and there were customer's before us, well worth the wait, our food was hot, tasty and well presented, all our meals were lovely, woukd definitely go back, excellent value, lovely staff who work very hard

UPDATE was last here april 2023 and waited over 20 mins till i had to go remind them jan 29th 2024 i m here again . had the 3 of everything breakfast again £11.75 as before the food was excellent but this time i waited exactly 5 mins and my breakfast was served..pity it wasnt like that the first time Reserva una mesa ahora

Visited today, after over 40mins waiting, we asked for a refund..it wasn't busy, amazed it kept taking 4 staff members to keep looking at orders, and discussing... Slow wasn't in it, nor where we told off a long delay in food.. Won't visit again........

The cafe was very busy and clean and the breakfast was excellent. Staff very attentive and apologised for the delay in food though as it was cooked fresh we expected. Would highly recommend visiting if you're in Launceston. Best breakfast by far.

We visited for a early breakfast and wasn't disappointed the food was cooked and tasted good and was very well reasonably priced we will visit again.

If you want a proper breakfast including proper sausages, served with toast and a drink then this is the best in Launceston. Need I say more. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great find for our journey home after a few days in Cornwall. All food cooked fresh, staff were helpful and attentive and dog friendly.

Regular visitors, great breakfasts! Loads of parking, good service. Good choice on menu. Clean and tydy cafe. Worth a visit
