My mom I just picked up breakfast takeout for us my grandma and just WOW!!! We loved absolutely everything we ordered! The biscuits are delicious filling, the portions for the price are amazing and I had the best chocolate chip pancake I think I ever had in my life! The pancakes are big fluffy. The side of meat was two pieces of scrapple which was wonderful as with most places you only get one piece. The toast was pre buttered yummy. I just can't say enough good things, I am just happy that this place is so close to us that we were able to get takeout before they closed at noon. Classic delicious scrapple perfectly crisp on the outside with salty softness on the inside. Potatoes were perfection. This little place is a delicious blast from the past. Small and quaint, it is more affordable than other breakfast joints. Highly recommend. They don't have any dairy free alternatives though, I asked and the server said the owner wasn't into offering other options. I had tge Amish Baked Oatmeal, it was delicious. My son had Texas grilled cheese breakfast sandwich, he liked it, took half home. My husband got the Country style omele, he said was delicious and VERY cheesy.
My daughter, granddaughter and I were here this morning May the 4th be with you, we didn't get to stay and eat due to personal emergency, but, Prospect staff was, so understanding and amazing , and we are planning a trip back soon because it's clean and friendly and we very much want to add stickers to the bathroom wall with your permission of course. I highly recommend the scrapple .

The food is good and plentiful and the staff is very fast at getting your food. Good place full of local regulars and it seemed like everyone knows each other. Update the Prospect Diner has not changed over the years I have been going there. Still a home town diner with great food and quick service.
What a great find for breakfast! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The oatmeal pancakes and scrapple were the best. It’s a small place, but definitely worth the wait if the booths and counter seats are full.
Yummy food! Low prices! Good service with a smile: Parking: Not very many parking spots, and it’s right off a busy road, but it seems like it’s usually enough for the size of the place.
This is the cutest little place. My food was perfect. I had to change my order to go and they very easily accommodated. 100% will go here again.
