Spent a super evening at the Prospect Of Whitby, a short walk from Wapping Overground Station. Great atmosphere and Danny, who looked after us, was friendly and knowledgeable about the pub and food he deserves to go far. We had the steak and ale pie with buttery mash and braised cabbage; and the sirloin steak (cooked exactly as requested) with chips you usually only dream about, and roasted tomatoes. The red merlot gravy accompanying both meals was moreish. The Rioja wine was perfect. Along with two outside terraces that must be very popular in warmer weather we’ll be back!

Stopped by for some food on a Sunday afternoon. Pub was busy but a table was found for us with a great view across the Thames. Really enjoyed this visit with my Wife. Great quality pub food, fine selection of beers, and friendly and helpful Staff. The pub itself is very old, with bags of character, and seating both upstairs and downstairs with a terrace on each level. I highly recommend this Pub, many thanks!

Beautifully preserved historic pub, which is the oldest public house situated along the Thames. Didn't try the food as it quite a busy pub, and although it was quite big and is a popular tourist attraction, seating was hard to locate, so just had a couple of drinks and sat on the balcony over looking out across the Thames.

This authentic riverside pub is a true hidden gem of London. Drinks a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the history (place has been running since 1520! and the riverside views (even though the gallows feel a bit grim and almost gimmicky definitely worth a detour on your London trip

A few of the food items I ordered were not available so ended up having nothing. Nachos for my daughter were ok ish. I had to ask for an ice bucket for my bottle of white wine. Loved the place but far too few bar staff for a Saturday evening. However I would go nack

Pub is nice, but they could do with levelling the pavement in the outside area. Also it's well overpriced. A beer is almost 8 quid.

A very interesting pub, one of the oldest in London. Beautiful view of the Thames, delicious food and very pleasant waiters.

Neck oil is a little overpriced. But the atmosphere was nice. Also, a dog friendly place.
