Pub Dog Pizza Drafthouse

I found Pub Dog Pizza Drafthouse to be a fantastic spot to relax after a long run or a hard day. I first came across this place thanks to CCR Columbia's summer Pub Runs, which are a fun way to work out and enjoy a tasty beer. What I love about Pub Dog is that their food, especially the pizza, and drinks are all dog-themed. In keeping with the theme, dogs are welcome on the patio. They offer a variety of delicious pizzas, beers, ciders, and even a seasonal drink called the "Corgi Cocktail". It's a great place to unwind and enjoy good food and drinks.

The pizza was average. They serve 10-inch pizzas, which are perfect for one person. The menu has a lot of options, which is a plus. I didn't particularly enjoy the pizza, but I didn't dislike it either. I prefer my pizza to be hotter, but the one I had was just warm. The outdoor seating area is lovely, with various sized tables and string lights. It is also dog-friendly. However, outdoor seating does not have table service, so customers need to go inside to the bar to order their food.

The beer choices were limited to just what they brewed on site. However, the bartenders were attentive and welcoming. Surprisingly, the pizza, which is their specialty, was disappointing in taste.

I popped in for a quick dinner on a Tuesday evening. The Green Jeans pizza and Atomic Dog pizza were both delicious. Paired with Blackberry Wheat and Peach Dog beers, it made for a fantastic meal.

The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance, fantastic music, and incredible pizza. The beer was also top-notch. I have no complaints and will definitely be returning.
