I finally discovered a fantastic coffee spot in Perth. This place has an excellent reputation and now I understand why. They serve up delicious coffee and do so quickly. One thing that caught my attention is that they charge a fee for card payments, which seems a bit unnecessary since most people don't carry cash anymore. This was a first for me. If you enjoy delicious food and juices, they also have another shop called Pluck located at the back of their building where you can purchase your coffee and have it brought to you. The service, coffee, and food are all top-notch.
I was a bit confused as Puck usually does the coffees and brunch style good but today Pluck which is round the corner from it suggested we order via Puck. Confused! Haha! Anyway, we ordered the red Thai curry and the Asian salad bowl both with chicken. It was delicious and well presented. The staff were helpful and friendly. Whilst there we noticed so many coffee orders being taken. I’m not an avid coffee drinker, but I must say they either have good coffee as the smoothies were nice.
Little place, big effort. Quality produce and staff, an old school and experienced owner and a ripper little space all adds up to one of Perth's better coffee shops. I am in Perth once a year for a couple of months, this place has never let it's offer falter and seems to hold it's staff. Very reliable, very consistent, very good.
First class coffee shop with a daggy internal design. The coffee is made to perfection nines times out of ten and the staff are always friendly and take time for a chat. I dont think ive ever had to wait more than a couple of minutes, even during the morning rush. Highly recommended.
