LONG BUT WORTH THE READ!!!!!We Drove all the from Massachusetts just to try this place out. We had reserved for 20 people on 2 different accounts with the same name. The restaurant had approved the request for the rsvp, so there shouldn’t have been any confusion. Even if there was any confusion they did not call us to confirm…. The service was extremely poor and the personalities of the employees were very rude and unpleasant. They made us sit outdoors in the heat, with mosquitoes everywhere and only 2 small fans. Even though, they had an upstairs fully equipped with seating and Air conditioning, apparently another party of 20 had booked it so they wouldn’t give it to us. Come To find out at...
I ordered the lamb and chicken platter for two, which was reasonably priced given the variety of meats. The Bang Bang shrimp were outstanding, and the chicken cubes and kebabs were delicious. The lamb kebab was decent, but the lamb cubes were slightly overcooked and dry, despite my request not to overcook them. However, the lamb chops were excellent. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely order from here again.
I drove over 30 minutes, with more than four hours left before closing, only to be told by the server that we couldn't dine inside because they had only one server, who couldn't handle cleaning up after us. The restaurant had just one occupied table, while the rest were empty. It's such a disappointment because I used to enjoy their food and considered this my go-to Afghan restaurant, but I won’t be returning again.
Absolutely horrendous experience! The food had hair in it, and the place was filthy. The customer service was terrible, with staff members displaying significant attitude. On top of that, the prices were ridiculously high! By the way, they don’t seem to be Pashtuns; they appear to be Indian or Bangladeshi, so the food is neither Afghan nor even close to authentic.

This restaurant has a variety of dishes but can't help but pick the butter chicken. The chicken is fresh and cut into small pieces which is then spread out into the creamy butter sauce. The freshly baked bread that comes with the dish provides an even better taste. The service here is excellent and the people are friendly. I rate this restaurant a 10/10
My favorite restaurant!!!! The lamb Kabuli Pulao is exquisite (as is everything else). The atmosphere and service is wonderful! They have outdoor seating options during the summer as well as traditional Afghan-style seating upstairs.Also, their shir chai is the best tea in New Brunswick!
Can’t believe I never knew about this place until now. Got the lamb and chicken platter for two around $40. Perfect portion size. Everything amazing except the lamb tikka too hard. We did street parking close by. Looking forward to coming back here often.
Really great food and friendly service. Lamb gyro and Chicken Adana were excellent. Loved the rice. Don't miss out on the desserts either. We tried the chocolate baklava and the Biscoff cheesecake and they were divine!

I came for pickup and the food is so good, I believe this restaurant is a must try. They offer a wide variety of foods at a reasonable price with good portions.
