Pulperia Naroa Bilbao

My brother's wife is from Bilbao. They brought me to this hidden treasure on my first visit. Now, every time I visit them, I insist we go here. It is the best! Wonderful, generous portions of tender pulpo served with delicious potatoes. Excellent fried green pepper and jamon. The Galacian white wine is great and served in little traditional bowls. The staff is very friendly. The tourist don't know about it because it is not in the tourist area, but if you are a foodie, it is well worth taking the metro and enjoying this little gem. The prices are reasonable and well worth it. It is not fancy, but very clean and friendly. Again, I say, the food is amazing and so worth the visit! One of my favorite places.

Precios económicos y calidad buena. El pulpo de cocción ideal y en su punto aderezo genial entre aceite, pimentón y sal. Y tanto los entrantes como sus carnes buenísimos. En cuanto al postre tienes varias opciones pero la tarta de queso es casera y está deliciosa. Mención especial a la dueña del local, Anuncia, que está en cocina y si tiene un momento sale para preguntar como va la comida, a su marido Luís que está en barra y el resto del personal que está muy atento para que no te falte de nada con una actitud muy profesional especial mención a Chus. Más sitios así, Gracias.

Went to this restaurant yesterday because of the review on tripadvisor. Was there at 7pm but apparently the kitchen open at 8pm, so have that in mind. Seems like the place that specialize in octopus, and other very classical dishes. The food looks delicious, taste delicious and was a very nice experience that I would recommend to anyone going to Bilbao. Waiters don't speak English very well, and the menu is in Spanish. I sat down with a beer and WiFi at 7pm and spent and hour trying to decide what to pick everything on the menu sound great

Excellent quality meal, great presentation and table service. All the staff are very pleasant. The cook is exceptional, always produces top quality dishes and desserts. The prices are mid-range.
