Mr. Pummer and his family run a lively, comfortable gasthof on a side street in Heiligenkreuz. My husband and I have stayed there several times, and each time have enjoyed our stay in the clean, simple, quiet rooms (which were heated nicely in the winter, and cool in the summer) with attached shower and bathroom. The food consists of regional staples, and they specialize in wild game. The Uhudler grape juice is fantastic. Only downside is the cigarette smoke which comes into the (nonsmoking) dining room from the bar area occasionally. Lovely to sit outside in nice weather.

Small, but very clean rooms. No screens on the windows, so be aware you'll wake up covered in mosquito bites in the summtertime. The restaurant is okay, not great, not terrible. It is convenient to the local bus stop and walkable to other hotels/restaurants in the area. For me it was across the street from a relative's home, so it was very convenient and you couldn't beat the reasonable rates.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis dieses Lokals ist sehr gut. Besonders günstig sind die Getränke. Man kann auch Flaschenwein zum mitnehmen kaufen.Toll sind die Konzerte, die hier stattfinden. Sie sind für ein Dorfgasthaus von der Qualität unglaublich. Zum Teil spielt hier die Jazz-Weltspitze auf. Die Preise dafür sind äußerst moderat.Empfehlenswert.

Wir waren zu einem Konzert eingeladen und haben vorher auch hier gegessen.Das Konzert war super - und das Essen hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Leider ist es im Saal etwas heiß geworden, das mag mein Kreislauf nicht so gern. Und der Service war mit den Getränken dann doch etwas langsam. Aber alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.
