This is a restaurant if you want to call it that lol, no sitting but with prices as if your dinning inn ? How do you charge double/triple the average, and you cant even eat inside lol? You would think the food speaks for it self?nope! The meal portions are half, the quality is dinner mid level. 1 empanada is 3$ lol ???? If this place was in a Hispanic community , I hightly doubt it would even remain opened . To each is own, i personally dont care what their doing, but it is
Yesterday, I sent one of my kids to buy chicken soup, but the cashier gave her Sancocho instead. I didn't make a fuss and just accepted the Sancocho. Then today, on 11/15/22, I sent my other child to get chicken soup, and he received rice with chicken stew. I called the restaurant to make a complaint, but the person on the other end was quite rude, and not only that, she hung up on me. When I called back, they picked up the phone and hung up again without saying a word.
Ordered takeout from Uber eats, We got lost tres golpes three hits eggs, fried cheese, salami the mangu of course, I got mofongo de Chicharron I added queso frito fried cheese . We got two empanadas of beer and two of cheese.. the cheese as you can see from the pictures was not a lot and whatever cheese is used melts completely onto the inside walls of the empanada. The sizes are very small to be paying 3$ for each little empanada to be honest.. I don?t even pay
They got really delicious Empanadas, will totally go back for those. Other food dishes are little pricey but the quantity is a lot. Liked their pan seared fish and shrimp dish. The lady at counter was really nice and helped me to pick out items to order. The food takes a while to get ready unless you are buying already cooked ones. Reserva una mesa ahora
We visited this place on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a couple of lunch specials that included pernil, pollo guisado, rice, beans, maduros, and yucca, along with a few empanadas on the side. Everything was absolutely delicious! It's a cozy little spot with just a few tables, but the food is definitely worth trying.
Pretty over priced for the amount of Mangú Con Los 3 Golpes. I requested for the salami and eggs to be seperated and that was totally ignored but all was good. Didnt like the Avena Estilo Dominicana but thats just me. Its literrly just the liquid part , no oats.
Delicious slow cooked pork! Clearly, everything here is made with care. Definitely coming back for the yucca breakfast special the next time I?m in town ??
