I’m very disappointed in the cake I order. I spend $120. The Color and design was different to what I wanted. The cake look cheap and sloppy design. It look like a person with no experience design it. Kiddie like. Also the cake taste less than what a Tres LecheCake should taste like. They don’t speak English at all so it was difficult to communicate. I even write out my request in text and they still get it all wrong. The cake was medium tall and it did not stand up for long. It was embrassing looking at the occasion. The rice and beans were perfectly cooked—flavorful and very filling. The breakfast steak was well-prepared, thin, and seasoned just right. The chorizo was outstanding, unlike the usual store-bought variety; it was neither too fatty nor too salty.
The service was excellent—quick and efficient. While there weren't many people in the dining area at the time, there was a steady stream of customers picking up takeout. It seems this place is popular, especially since Spanish teachers have made it a point of discussion. We even ran into a Spanish teacher while we were there!
And don't forget to try the pastries! The flan and the tiramisu tres leches-style pastries were delightful, not overly swe...
I just ate sooooo much for $24. Steak, chicken, arepas, rice, beans, avocado, pork, an egg. I'm sure I'm missing something. It was fantastic. Everything had great flavor and the variety is fantastic. I've been here in the past for the bakery items which I've also thoroughly enjoyed. Don't know why I waited so long to come back. I won't make that mistake again. Servers are pleasant and quick, atmosphere is what you'd expect and of course the food. Good times.
Literally waited over 15 minutes to be given a food menu ..... Poor server swamped with tables. Nobody helping her. I waited and eventually left sucks. Bc Hicksville location is the best And they Are super busy still able to take care of every one. Anyway I went I to restaurant Cuscatlan next door small place but service and food was amazing amazing amazing!!! Hicksville is Way better.

They All the same trash hole but the one in Freeport it's the worse my wife and son order their food and I was not that hungry I ask one 2 empanadas and a guava bread, they served my family but they NEVER BROUGHT MY APPETIZER, WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS ITS THAT? SHE CAME WITH THE CHECK AND SHE DIDNT REALIZED THAT SHE FORGOT,SHAME ON YOU.STAY AWAY FROM ALL THESE TRASH HOLES
Not my favorite experience at all! I ordered a hot chocolate, and the waitress said, "You can go get it yourself!" I wouldn’t mind doing it, but at least give me an explanation instead of just issuing an order! You can check this place out if you'd like, but personally, I won’t be returning—it’s definitely off my list! Oh, and the empanada was drenched in oil. Ouch!
Saturday nights at Punto Rojos are always bustling! As a fan of Colombian cuisine, this is my favorite spot. Tonight, I enjoyed their ice-cold Cholada topped with fruit, which was just as delicious as always. I've tried other places, but none compare!
The food is good. The price is right the ambience is not so good overall quick lunch dinner even breakfast it's worth a shot. The service is good.
