Pupusas A&j's - Reserva de mesa

My mom was in the mood for some soup, and a woman recommended this restaurant to us, so we drove from Fruitland to give it a try. On the way, we stopped at Starbucks, since there aren't any in Fruitland. However, when we got to the restaurant, the staff refused to seat us unless we got rid of our drinks. Since we weren't going to throw away our Starbucks beverages, we ended up leaving. It's unfortunate that they lost our business over a drink. We understand that most places don’t allow outside food or alcohol, but I've never experienced a restaurant outright refusing service just because we brought in coffee.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant due to their poor service, particularly with expired drinks. When I brought this up, they refused to replace them but were quick to charge me. Additionally, the pupusas lacked flavor and the ingredients used were of very low quality. I would never return to this place and I do not recommend it to others. We're thrilled to have discovered this hidden gem! We had the opportunity to chat with the owner, who shared that he and his wife are retiring. The pupusas were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The restaurant offers plenty of seating for group gatherings and has ample parking available. We hope the mentioned employee gets the loan approval needed to keep the business running!

The pupusas are not good; they seem pre-made and just reheated. Each time I've ordered soups, they've been unavailable. The service leaves much to be desired as well. I don't think I'll return. Wild customer service. I went with a friend and the server literally wanted to punch me in my face because I didn't grab the menus. She never offered us water.
