The Puzzle Bar is clearly a place for locals in a quartier offshore the city centre. It has only a few tables and a tiny bar. The walls are decorated with an ambitious mixture of paintings where the message of each one clearly goes before the overall style. That matches the overall flavor of the place, though, because it slightly radically vegan and politically left wing, Or simply put: If you 're punk, you 'll love it! The music, the deco and the personnel all match up quite well but you have to fit into it to like it, I think. As a standard tourist, I felt that I was being treated politely with a certain distance. I find that okay, because places like that choose their guests and find their clientele. You would have to give them a bit of time to decide about you, which, as a tourist, usually does not happen. If you go there, just be nice and respect that, I would say. The food concept works out well, I think. A small menu with solid, basic food for very humane prices. Just don 't expect the maitre de cuisine to surprise you with the plate 's decoration or with the delicate taste of the accompanying salad because there is no such thing here. You ordered a burger with fries? There you go, nothing more and nothing less. I liked the food, though, and it goes along well with the price policy. If I lived there I would most probably go there frequently when too lazy to cook for myself.
