Pyrmont Point Hotel

Surly female with black faux suede shorts huffed at us after slamming an innocent chux on a table waiting to be wiped down.  It was stupid of us to think we would be spoken to politely  or a t least with some evidence of personality. It was also too late now to turn around & leave, (a wise move had we listened to our intuition) as we'd placed our order and had paid the money. And what a fair bit of money that was. At $33.00 for a Scotch fillet that was more fat than meat, a measly  salad & chips that were no match for Maccas fries, a quality Gastro pub this is not.

Yes, this is pub food but it has improved out of sight recently. Nice tapas plates, if you don't want a big meal, excellent cooking of fish dishes and an amazing variety of burgers.This is not the kind of place to eat fillet steak because it's too expensive for the clientele, I imagine.The specials are sophisticated and interesting. The wine list at the bar has improved lately too. The service is good, attentive without being intrusive. Nice outdoor seating, clean toilets, comfortable restaurant.

¿Qué sucede contigo? Por favor, reconoce que la comida es terrible en nuestro local y prueba algo más. Caminamos hacia atrás cada 6 meses mientras vivimos a la vuelta de la esquina, solo para grabar comida vergonzosa con precios muertos completos. Agotado esta noche, como de costumbre, ¿qué demonios haces a los dueños de este pub? ¿No te preocupes por las críticas? No puedo esperar que el término se vuelve a abrir con la calidad de algo calidad y pub-grub favorable. Vergonzoso.

When i heard that this was the best roast in Sydney i was dubious, because my family is from Yorkshire. I just had the best Yorkshire pudding ever and the roast was actually out of this world. Special shout out to the bearded chef who seemed to be in charge of running the show, and the girl with the pink hair. She was so accommodating and helpful, including checking if everything was ok at multiple points. Professional. If i lived near here, id be here weekly. Reserva una mesa ahora

Este es el favorito de los pubs de Pyrmont. La posición de la esquina estaba entre los residentes con escalera en todas partes, mucho con un asiento de banco alto y la historia en las paredes. Estímulo en el bar con algunas ofertas especiales de bebidas, para no continuar. Lo hicimos, pero no en algún lugar con más carácter. Como siempre, mantenga abierto Sydney y apoye nuestro patrimonio.

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and have never been disappointed. But not sure whether there has been new management or staff... the bream we tried was rubbery and the chicken supreme was similar. It was totally disappointing. If this was a $10 meal shop it might be understandable but it is totally not worth/up to the standard of a $26 per dish meal...

All I was chasing when I walked in was a quick pub feed, what I got was hands down the best burger I've had in Sydney. Absolutely would recommend, especially seeing as it came with loaded fries as well.

Muy mal servicio de un miembro del personal. Grosero y poco profesional. Su pub no es tan bueno que pueda darse el lujo de dar un servicio inferior. Me voy a beber en otro lugar.

I've been a few times and the food and service are always great. The chargrilled octopus is the best octopus I've ever had and the steak is always cooked perfectly.
