I've been calling a couple times a week for the last few weeks to order but no one answers the phone. The VM doesn't work.I used to love this place, but the last few times I ordered using their website or Yelp, I show up and they never received my order. It shows up late on their end so I end up having to wait for my food (during my lunch break so this is not ideal). The last time this happened, I ordered an item with cole slaw. I was quietly sold my food with no mention that they were out of cole slaw that day- I found out when I called in angry. Oh my gosh! The sodium was overwhelming! I had been really looking forward to trying this place after seeing it all over social media, especially since I live nearby. The staff behind the counter were friendly, but they definitely went overboard with the seasoning. I was also disappointed that my coleslaw, which I requested on the side, didn't make it to my order. If only there had been different seasonings to bring out the distinct flavors—everything, from the sandwich to the waffle fries and pickle chips, tasted similar! I probably won't be coming back, but I will say the counter in the gas station was quite charming. I can already tell I'll be drinking a lot of water tonight!
if you love spicy chicken sandwiches check out this place first time going. Got the #1 2 pyro chicken sandwiches with there hottest spice level pyromaniac and with a side of CRISPY!! Onion ring chefs kiss there just perfect. Service was great guys were very cool gave me a head up on the highest level and they didn't disappoint its hot chicken. It's located inside the shell gas station there's plenty of parking small eating area inside but you can always eat it in your car.

You can even watch ur food being made and how clean they keep the cooking area. I can't believe I just now found out about this place. Hidden gem in Newhall. 5 Stars !!! The chicken sandwiches here are quite good, but I used to enjoy them when the #1 cost around $13, and now it's $22. While the sandwiches are tasty, I don't think they're worth that price. Unfortunately, I will have to stop coming here for that reason. It was nice while it lasted.
You were right it is hotter than a habnero, almost at ghost and reaper hot. Pyromaniac sandwich was on point.Still didn't stand a chance cause it was gone before I left the store.Thank you for the wonderful service,Definitely coming back.
Some of the best fried chicken we've ever tasted! It's served piping hot, and the portions are generous. Definitely worth the detour from the highway!
