Avoid this place if you expect good service. This restaurant has the worst service I have experienced in a long time. I never write reviews, but this one merits a review.The prices are high end and over-priced for the food, but the service is low-end and very unfriendly.1. Waiter tells me i can't have a taste of a wine before ordering it, because there is a description on the wine list. When I asked if it the white was very chilled, he said he would bring me ice. Obviously has no idea about wine thinking that people put ice in their white wine.2. The food is beautiful but very mildly flavored. Our server said it is Palestinian flavors adapted for a modern pallette. If by modern pallette you mean mildly flavored and reasonably, but not attentively prepared (chicken was dry, they must not brine) then I get it. It was so loud in this small place that our server couldn't even hear us. Service was gruff and had to ask three times for our check. If you want a pretty date night place where you have to yell at each other to be heard and you have a sensitive pallette, this is it. If you are looking for the real deal, go elsewhere.

Service and overall atmosphere is good but food is can be improved. I’ve been to several other Mediterranean restaurants but food over here need some improvement . Meat doesn’t look fresh and not juicy but overall environment is good. One should go and try their food and make their own opinion.

Octopus hummus was excellent and frozen mint lemonade mocktail was so refreshing on a hot evening. Walked in on a weds 8pm. Only knock was the cramped seating placement for two despite quite a few empty larger tables for the hour we were there.

This is easily one of the best meals I’ve had in NYC. The lamb shank was insanely good!!
