Q'ero - Reservar una mesa

My friend was in town visiting for the weekend and wanted to go out for breakfast maybe get a burrito. Hours earlier, I had received an email invitation from Q 'ero to their Encinitas restaurant, in celebration of the 15 year anniversary of the idea that brought Q 'ero into the world. With special pricing, this turned out to be a very fortunate visit. We indulged in a fine Peruvian desayuno, although the menu describes my Chifrijo as 'a humble dish of the Cuban people. ' My guest had an amazing egg skillet dish, of which the name escapes me. It employed Huacatay (Peruvian black mint) very creatively. A delicious dish! Foodie heaven! The Peruvian and Latin flavors created out the Qèro kitchen are out if this world. Spicy, flavorful, succulent, fresh, the list can go on and on. Every dish I've had has been perfection. Small and intimate this lil place is warm with a magical way of transferring you to a lil casita in Peru. My favorite eatery in North County SD so far.
