Qi Lin Chinese - Reservar una mesa

This restaurant, allied to one that has been open for a number of years in Sierre, has just opened in a building that has just been extensively renovated. The main dining room is in a brand new addition. We went on a Friday night and...the place was almost full. It is a little unfair to review a restaurant after it has just opened and before it has been able to shake down. However, having said that, our meal was frankly disappointing. Rather than choose à la carte or one of the fixed menus listed in a very nicely produced menu book, we asked the owner to propose what he did best. He suggested three dishes and some plain rice. The prawn beignet was badly undercooked with the batter neither crispy nor done, the sesame seed encrusted fish was bland and had a poor texture, the Sichuan porc, (listed as spicy) was not and was also bland. Service, with the exception of a charming young Korean man who studied at the hotel school in Crans, was on a par with the cooking. The wine list has an interesting selection of wines from the Valais with some well known small producers featured. We had a very pleasant rosé from Maurice Zufferey whose winery is just outside Sierre, down in the valley. It would be nice if this could turn out to be a winner but on present showing, unlikely

We dined there again last week and have to admit the food is much better than we experienced the first time we were there, (July Service was good, the dishes we tried tended to have too much sugar. Two of the dishes were marked...as spicy but were in fact bland. Pleasant but unremakable

Came across this quaint little place while in the area. Certainly were not disappointed. The service was excellent, friendly faces and quickly served. The portion sizes were spot on and the food was tasty. It's not often you find Chinese food this flavourful in Switzerland

Cuisine très très bonne, des patrons aux petits soins et des prix très corrects. Lorsqu’on monte à Zinal, c’est à dire très souvent, on s’arrête très souvent pour manger dans ce restaurant, on n’a jamais été déçus. Je recommande vivement

We went there upon arrival in the area, after hours on the road, it was nice to sit down and chat with the lovely owners. Our food arrived quickly and was very tasty, the vegetarian noodles and spring rolls are delicious
