Self service even though it wasn't busy. Information about it was inside at the counter instead of spread out on the tables. Ashtrays for the tables outside were inside and you had to ask for them. Although there wasn't much going on, the staff seemed a bit haphazard. I think self-service is completely ok if you don't have any staff. But not with 3 employees who obviously have nothing to do. Friendly, helpful staff would be great here.

Such a stunning place to stop for a light bite, a coffee or a nice beer. Huge selection of beers available, we tried the Christmas beer, which was surprisingly light and refreshing. The views of the mountains and the lake are simply breathtaking with crystal clear water and snow capped peaks surrounding on all sides. Such a lovely place to stop, would recommend.

We were finishing the Swiss Path in Brunnen and had 30 minutes to wait for our ferry. There are a few restaurants to choose from on the lake front. We chose Quai 2 because of its location and because there was a table free! Ordered a beer each taking in the sun and watching the world walk by. Lovely!

Such a view can be seen from the window in this cafe, although the photo was taken closer to the lake. What I especially liked was the hygiene products in the women's toilet, deodorant, napkins, tampons and pads, there was everything you need in case you need to use it urgently. Flammkuchen with a view, very nice waitress, relatively quick service. Seems to be a hot spot for cyclists to have a lunch break.

Nice modern feel cafe on the waterfront. Limited choices but is pleasant to stay for break.
