Quattro At Whistler

This place is very adorable and way bigger than it looks on the outside! For the most part, we had a wonderful dinner! However, it was absolutely freezing in the restaurant! The staff was so kind and could tell we were cold and said the heat was all the way up (mentioned it's an old building and it was very cold outside) however all the other restaurants we went to over the weekend managed to keep the inside much warmer. Solid Italian restaurant at Whistler where it was fairly easy to snag a reservation for a large group. This does not mean that Quattro is a second tier restaurant. To be honest, the sampler plate, containing something like ten different items, was considered by many members of my group to be some of the most exciting high-end Italian food that they had ever had. I share this view. Later courses were delayed significantly which resulted in some items being comped, the auto-gratuity being removed from the bill, and a free round of drinks. There're some many restaurant choices in Whistler and we chose Quattro as we haven't dine here for quite some time. We had 2 pasta dishes, Linguine Pescatore and Pappardelle Bolognese, they were both delicious and of good portion. It was a busy night and the restaurant was packed with tourists and groups. The only issue I had with our visit was the service. The server assistance dropped off the two entrees and walked off without a word. Typically we would expect to be asked if we required anything else such as freshly grate Parmigiano-Reggiano or pepper. Ate here last night and had the lamb special. Got insanely sick with food poisoning. Called the restaurant and of course they didn't do anything about it. Not even apologetic! Don't eat here. This was our first experience at Quattro and it was brilliant. Our waiter Marek was super friendly. The sommelier (didn't catch his name) was nice enough to pair our wine with dinner perfectly. The food was excellent. The bolognese pappardelle was good but the cod was delicious.

The best pasta we have ever had!! If you are in Whistler and like Italian food, Quattro is a must visit. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxing. They have a great wine list with a lot of options. We will absolutely be back!

What a great Italian restaurant in the heart of Whistler village! Service was exceptional, pasta bolognese was Amazing! I loved the 2 styles of bread the Quattro martini hit the spot! Tiramisu was great! Caesar salads were so delicious!

Place is just flat out good! Service is awesome, food is awesome, ambience is good. I make it a point to eat here at least once whenever I am in Whistler.

Excellent service and genuine Italian dishes. We are lucky to find this Italian restaurant in the village, a true gem. The tiramisu is a must try.
