Quay 57 - Reserva de mesa

I had the best meal ever at this restaurant, featuring Maple Belly Pork with scallops, cauliflower puree, tenderstem broccoli, pulled pork bon-bon, dauphinoise potato, crackling, and a reduction sauce. It was completely faultless and tasted like something from Masterchef, all for just over £20! The service was great, they had local ales, and the dining area was clean and modern. I loved it. This was for dinner and the price per person was between £10-20.

We arrived in Brixham and found Quay 57 restaurant was just down the road so called to book table 2 times both times the phone was answered and then they hung up, we decided to walk down and arrive just before 8 to be told they have ginnished serving even though its says on the notice board open until 10pm. If that is their customer service then I hope the food is better.

We waited an hour for our 3 plates of food (ordering online said it could take up to 45 minutes when busy) and when it came, 2/3 of us were disappointed. My sweet potato fritter was undercooked in the middle, and along with the poached eggs and avocado, the entire plate had absolutely no salt or any type of seasoning. I wouldn’t recommend for brunch. Amazing Food, service alcohol free options and dog friendly. I had scampi and chips which eas delicious, proper scampi and the pulled pork burger was delicious. Amazing outside area, Alcohol free beer was delicious and local too. Staff were friendly and as helpful as can be. Would highly recommend. Reserva una mesa ahora

Brunch. I ordered the poached egg on sweet potato fritter with avocado. Had been poached with too much white vinegar so the whole thing stunk and to add insult to injury the white was still raw and snotty inside.

I am disappointed to hear that this restaurant has closed down. It was a fantastic place with amazing food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I would have rated it a 5 in all categories.

The service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. The only suggestion I have is to offer more variety on the menu. I can't wait to return next year!

Popped in for lunch had a fantastic BLT and Bacon and Brie sandwiches. Great service, attentive and great Quay location.
