The woman who seems to be in charge doesn't know how to treat her staff. She's a mean lady and makes the environment so uncomfortable even to sit down and eat. I feel bad for the woman who helps there. The lady practically begged her to pay her for the week so that she can go home.
Tia Maria was truly fantastic! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the food was outstanding. I tried the tres golpes, and it was the best I've had since moving to New York! It's a great place, a solid 10/10, highly recommended!
They get two stars because the lady behind the counter was sweet and accompanied. Prices are really high for mediocre food. Rice and tostones were very dry. I won't be returning. I really wanted to like this place.

This place is a hidden gem!! The lady behind the counter is so friendly and accommodating. Didn't see anything I wanted on display but she told me to tell her what I wanted and she went and made it.
A delightful experience in this Spanish gem! The beef was an explosion of flavors, and the welcoming atmosphere, along with the attentive staff, created a memorable meal. Highly recommended!
