During my 9-day stay in Peterborough, this pub became my favorite spot for food. The 3 small dishes for £15 were fantastic value. I tried them three times and nearly made my way through half of the options. My top pick was the burrata with white bean salad, which I ordered every time. The other two dishes I switched up with each visit: small tacos with pulled pork and mushrooms, and all three variations of tater tots (my favorite was with pulled meat and Buffalo sauce, as well as with chicken and mozzarella). For our first trip to Peterborough we decided to grab some lunch at The Queens Head pub in the square. We ordered a child's pizza for my 6 year old daughter and it was bigger than her head! And she absolutely loved it. Our pot meals were pipping hot but far too delicious to let cool down. Staff were very friendly, we had a dapper looking chap look after us who was lacking in hair but had an abundance of good cheer and service with a smile! Fab pub!
we called here after a drink in a night and it was extremely busy with group bookings. while standing at the bar “Monica” asked if we would like a table as it was available to pm when it was booked before. that was very thoughtful, because the bar was pretty crowded. the drinks were great and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. we haven't eaten there as we had other plans, but the pizzas looked great!
When I saw it was new with my friend and our lil. the atmosphere was very chilled and the great selection of music games, the best, although the 2-4-1 pizza was on Monday, the pizza was amazing, as well as the rosmarin and crumbling crushed kartoffels. the personal was friendly enough and was always to check whether everything was good to hide it from outside is beautiful. will definitely return.

Food, beer and staff all very good. Visited on the 22nd March 2018 with two other work colleagues and ended up having pizzas sides and dips all of which were excellent, very nice decor apart from a statue of Maggie Thatcher. Would visit again if in the area.
we eat here all the time. the stone baked pizzas are fresh and tasty and light plates are amazing, recommend very sesame flower cabbage and the pork belly bite always a good choice of ales/storages and gins and family friendly service
at the weekend the queen visited the head with my friends. we were greeted by all employees and treated so beautifully. the service was fast and efficient. Live music was also such a good mood! will definitely recommend.
we just wanted to eat a bite. we ordered small teller and a chicken pizza. everything we ate was really nice. the staff was friendly and cheerful. we will definitely come back. beautiful relaxed atmosphere.

The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere with a great team. The pizzas are the best in the town center, and the music is perfect. The atmosphere is lively and buzzing.
