We enjoyed a week night performance of Tina Turner at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. We were taken back by the size of the theatre once inside, super spacious and looks relatively modern considering it age. The acoustics were good, but sometimes produced a little too much echo, causing voices to become a little muffled when volumes were high. Drink prices were pretty high, which I guess is standard for an inner city theatre. We'll be back.
Queensland Performing Arts Centre is an excellent venue featuring theatres, cafes, and comfortable seating areas. It is easily accessible by public transport, with affordable parking available on the premises.
