First good idea. We had booked into the caravan park and wanted to eat somewhere nice for my birthday. Went on line to Trip Advisor and could reserve a table straight away with an email reply immediately. Second, Hannah the waitress greeted us warmly and then proceeded to make our night very special with excellent service and knowledge. Thirdly, the food was to die for. Two of us had the duck which was cooked perfectly, the salmon the same and the Asian grilled seafood on Pad Thai noodles was exceptional. We went to Port53 for dinner and thought it was excellent. Our waitress, Cassie, was a delight. She was knowledgeable, fun and extremely efficient, and the food was outstanding. The meals came in a timely manner, were beautifully presented and were delicious. There was an interesting fusion of east/west with a modern touch to old favourites.The "cant' decide" dessert platter was a treat, because it saved us from having to choose. It includes the chef's choice of three different desserts and there were all lovely.The place is very pleasing, with lots of space between tables. When we are in Echuca again, we will certainly visit the restaurant.
Wonderful place & atmosphere on nice Autumn Day. Family went on Mother's Day banquet. The roasted meats were succulent, smokey, the gravy delish. The added sides were wonderful, sauteed beens, roasted eggplant, serves of fish Barramundi, calamari all flavoursome.The sweets were on the mark with fresh fruit, churros, waffles etc. Our parents getting aged were all satisfied and there was even gluten free for the mother in law. Everything was catered lovely. Staff are polite, neatly dressed. I can see why the place completely full. Great day would go back again for another evening (dinner) you'd be mad not to.
Had a wonderful meal, all cooked beautifully, food menu was smaller than the wine menu. Fairly pricey especially the wine - nothing under $40. We had two mains & two desserts with a couple of beers & a bottle of wine - $180.The seafood platter was freally good with an asian flavour and nothing battered or a chip in sight, the duck breast was excellent too, veges are additional, the broccoli with garlic & chilli was reaaly good. Ordered salmon for dinner..there was no mention on the menu of what it came with so I asked the waiter. I was told it came with nothing. So then I ordered 2 sides of veggies at $8.50 per side.. when the meal arrived it came with chips and asparagus. I said to the waiter I thought you said it came with nothing. They replied oh..yes it comes with chips and asparagus. I said if that was the case I would not have ordered the sides. There reply..I don't normally work in this section and walked off
this was a highlight. the food was fantastic. We hit the entrees for all our meals [first night] and had a mains the next. The entrees were to nice to avoid. the mains were a generous serve, recommend the bugs. Felix the chef has it nailed; say hi to him and have a good chat! the staff are very attentive and friendly and unobtrusive. Highly recommended. the wines chosen by the glass are all good quality, especially the pinot gris
Took our grown up children to dine at Port 53 last week as part of a celebration. As always the food was beautiful and the staff were friendly and attentive. Service was quick and we very much enjoyed our dining experience there. We always love their main meals, but the Churrios deserve a special mention. Best ever deserts.
Walked in with my wife the lady behind the counter remembered me from last time and also where i was from that is fantastic service didn't know what to order so she recommend a meal choice absolutely loved it food fantastic will definitely go back and order something different next time in Echuca Reserva una mesa ahora
eat there with friends on Sat 13th.Had a wedding party so restaurant guests even if booked treated as an inconvenience.Food was over priced and poor in quantity,. Beer list good but wine list very poor. Desserts were served in error. Waiters asked "are you sure?" when we queried - no apologies
