Rag and Famish - Reserva de mesa

The Gang of Four dined at the bistro on Father’s Day. They don’t take bookings, so you just pitch up and grab a table. Surprisingly for a chilly Sunday night, the place was reasonably full, there were only a handful of free tables left inside when we arrived at 6.30pm, so we grabbed one as close to the heaters as poss, at the back of the room near the TV screen. There’s outside seating as well, but it was too chilly for that, although there were some hardy souls braving the cold. A better option in summer, I would think.  <br/ <br/ The seating is quite uncomfortable, with only high tables and bar stools. There didn’t seem to be any regular tables and chairs to sit at. I don't usually write reviews, but I can't help reminiscing about my time in Sydney in June 2019. I stayed in North Sydney for work and discovered the Rag, a place that instantly felt like home. The atmosphere was welcoming, the beer was cold, and the music was fantastic. I just wanted to give a shoutout to "Wayne" and let him know I owe him a few beers. I'll definitely be back one day. The hotel is located on Miller street and Berry steet junction (is easily spotted).It is a nice place with a cozy feel to have drinks with friends/colleagues and grab light meal. They have limited menue for food, bar is good and service is quick. Have to say Value for money as well. I had ordered Chicken schnitzel with lemon lime bitters.. Enjoyed it.

I love the outdoor component. They have pies which is now quite difficult to find in Sydney. I had the cottage pie. It looks small but it definitely filled me up. I love the variety of sides. The place also have a resident cat (called Sesame) which adds excitement to the meal. 0.5 a star off due to the price. It is in the north shore I guess... Reserva una mesa ahora

A good earned thirst deserves a nice cold something (whatever your poison is Beer wine spirits soda). Rag and Famish has been serving drinks to office goers at North Sydney since eons and it still attracts a good crowd any day of the year. Good food meets good drinks.

Came for a work function where they have booked a private space upstairs with our own bar. The space was cozy with the dark old school decor with an old English smoking room feel (less the smokes). The range of finger food pizzas were solid.

Nice pub with a good selection of beers. Cool outdoor seating area (which unfortunately gets very crowded on Friday nights and weekends), The layout makes it hard to get around when it gets busy. <br/ <br/ Friendly staff and quick service

Excellent pies and sides. The atmosphere speaks of an old school pub yet it delivers on fun, coziness and the staff are very friendly. Bonus points for their pub cat: Sesame; who was also friendly and greeted each of us at the table! Reserva una mesa ahora

The pub serves the best pies you'll ever taste! They also have a good variety of draft beers. The decor may not be the best, but that's part of its charm for me. It has a laid-back Aussie pub vibe with live music on Fridays.

Amazing brews under one roof. Loved the pale ale. Good option of food. Fries were delicious. Fried fish was too oily. Sauces are good variety.
