Checked this spot out this Morning! The owner Anthony was welcoming was very honest that he was short staffed and it would be a longer then usual wait for food. My boyfriend and I decided to have our coffee and stay being he is a local and we are trying all the Rahway Gems out! We loved the ambience of the place that old school diner feel. The staff was friendly and we were understanding of the wait which went by fast because we conversed with the owners who were were genuine good people. Food
The place itself is very 50s vibes. The have the bar stools and booths to sit on. They also have outside seating for the precautions. I got the speacial of the day which was nyc burger which contained the patty , cheese , onions with bbq. The other plate was sausage omelette w cheese and peppers with the side of toast and some fries. Both dishes were so good and definitely a good place to have brunch. The environment itself was very welcoming...the waitress was very nice and attentive.
I have been to many diners and had many bacon and cheese omelets in my lifetime, but none compare to the one I had this morning at Rahway Grill. The cook, Eddie (I had to ask for his name), has truly created a masterpiece. It was the most delicious omelet I have ever tasted! Thank you, Margaret, for the excellent service and for sharing the story of this place with me. You are wonderful! I am already looking forward to my next visit.
We decided to go for breakfast in the newly reopened Rahway grill. I absolutely love the way how it looks. A small old style place with very friendly people and good food. The photos speak for themselves and I know we will return. I had the BLT and the bacon was super crispy just the way I like it. This lovely little breakfast and lunch spot has an old diner vibe and lots of character. There are stand counters for seating, and the coffee made from freshly ground beans is fantastic. The service is excellent and the food is good. It's one of the best places for breakfast in the area, with delicious omelettes and pancakes on offer. They also sell coffee beans.

Nice small breakfast/lunch spot with an old diner feel. Charming establishment with plenty of character. Eat in booths counter available. Fantastic coffee from fresh ground beans. Excellent service and great food. One of the best breakfast spots in the area. Good omelettes and pancakes. Coffee beans available to go.
