After along day doing a walk for the heart foundation from Queenscliff to Geelong we decided to go to the local for Dinner, bar staff were polite and friendly and after a few drinks we ordered our meals, which i must say didn't take long at all my hubby ordered the seafood platter which is called something else ..anyway it consisted of calamari, scollops fish crumbed prawns & mussels, well much to our discust the mussels were stone cold, uncooked not cleaned and with the beard still in tact, there is no way u could eat these mussels as they could not be opened, as well as a few raw mussels thrown in the platter, it was totally disapointing, mussels should be cleaned and cooked, as cooking mu...

I have previously eaten here and the food was very good. The last 2 visits the quality has sunk. It took my wife for lunch in December and she had a tropical salad of some sort. It contained canned mango. Really! December is prime fresh mango season. I put this down to (they might have run out). Last week I returned with a friend. I had what was possibly the worst chicken Parmigiana I have ever eaten. Possible reheated, dry covered in instant gravey of indeterminate flavour. As I am diabetic I requested no chips I got vegetables. All good. We'll no. Al Dente is great for pasta but not vegetables. Undercooked almost to the point of raw, and while I didn't get chips I did get a pile of potatoe...

This hotel has a wide variety of standard pub fare with a daily specials board from which we ordered. My swordfish was cooked beautifully and was accompanied by a potato bake type dish and fresh vegetables. Can also choose to have salad and chips. Meals were reasonably priced as were most of the drinks. Would have liked to see a rose wine option on the wine menu. My husband's meal was ordered as the special chicken schnitzel with a meatball sauce but a plain schnitzel was served. Desserts sounded yummy but mains were a large serve so we couldn't fit dessert in. Seems to be a popular place with the locals.

We've been here twice now and it's lovely the way the restaurant is set out, it's really a great cosy pub.The service is great and friendly.The food is really delicious. Great pub food but they have lots to choose from including a few different things. I love the steaks and salads. The chicken Parma was a hit with family members. Have dined here many times. Most of the food is good honest pub food. They have rotating special menus- Parmi and pot nights, steak etc. The staff are very friendly and the food is generally good. There is a small play room for kids if they get bored.

The meal was nice and all 4 of us enjoyed our meals when we finally got them. It was 1 hour before we got our garlic bread and then 15 min later the mains arrived.The meals are reasonably priced and a decent size.

Well what a popular pub for a great fare of food that would please almost every body that is really hungry, The pork ribs were really good as was the warm chicken salad. Beer cold and a real country vibe. Reserva una mesa ahora
