Review of The Railway Tavern in Bexley Village: My partner and I visited this pub for the first time on a Sunday evening in March 2022 after hearing they had karaoke. When we arrived around 7:30 pm, it wasn't very busy, so we grabbed high chairs at the bar. DJ Duncan was already set up on a stage in the corner, hosting a regular Sunday evening session until 11 pm. The pub is bright and beautifully decorated, located discreetly around the corner from Bexley train station and convenient for buses including the 229. Old man manager, very rude and unprofessional. Definitely an old man 's pub who favours the regulars. My friend was on on all fours on a very sturdy table, dancing, whqn the miserable old man comes out and said "my tables aren 't that sturdy! ' in a serious tone. Complained that 's he always receives people from lanyard Lane after their brunches. I think this old sour puss should appreciate the custom
Turned up for karaoke as been told how good it is. Myself and wife needed a night out so the railway it was. Was greeted by pigtails and little clothing and a hello darling what we drinking. (Was asked instantly to but this barmaid a drink) had even taken my order. Was not impress or was the wife. Other barmaid very friendly and more on the ball.
had the worst experience ever do not recommend!! the bouncers were vile, rude and aggressive! they denied me entrance even though it was MY ID. one of the male bouncers then barged into the female toilets and the door went straight into my friends arm she asked for an apology and they was so rude about it!

Five of us visited on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 and we must say the pub was fantastic. The two women working behind the bar were wonderful - they had a great attitude and provided excellent service. We will definitely return.
We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant with the Shambolicks band performing. The staff were very friendly. However, it was a bit crowded as there may have been too many people let in on the night.
Went there to support band and yet land lady very rude , gave custom allnight and yet when popped out wS not allowed bk In as bouncer very rude and arrogant. Don't visit not worth feeling demoralised
Nice and friendly, popped in for a quick drink after a walk it's close to the London Loop, very handy

A good chef knows what they are doing, and Gouverneur does not tolerate any foolishness.
Good friendly pub, nice staff. Good selection of beers drinks. Not too expensive.
