Rainforest Cafe Detroit Great Lakes

I had brought a very close friend who had never been before. As two adults it should’ve occurred to us that this place would be bountiful and screaming children. We were just going for the experience of the experience. The unruly children and the clearly problematic children did take away from our day but the overall quality of the food and the attention that our waiter Brian gave to us far outnumber the bad things so it was a success

We have been to 3 other Rainforest Cafes, this one was disappointing. Animal movements were extremely minimal. They had no Volcano desserts. Those are the 2 reasons we go. The food is always just average. We drove 3and a half hours I was extremely disappointed. I would not recommend to anyone unless you are in the area and have never been to a Rainforest Cafe before.

Recommend for the experience of letting your kid enjoy the atmosphere but nothing else. Salad had old, brown lettuce (I sent it back, I couldn’t even eat around it! , everything came out lukewarm. But again, at least the animated tigers kept the little one happy :

We got there early by 1/2 hour and they were able seat us (party of 8)....I was very pleased.....
