Many people don’t realize how challenging it is to serve the public for eight hours straight while keeping a smile and a positive attitude. Dealing with hundreds of different personalities every day takes a lot of dedication and patience. I truly admire the employees, management, and servers for their hard work. As a cashier at a large retail store, I can say that handling various personalities daily definitely makes prayer an important support. Foxwoods isn’t just beautiful—it’s made even better by the amazing people who work there. Hats off to all of you! I hope the owner reads this and knows how much we appreciate the team.
I recently visited The Rainmaker Buffet, and the interior was truly beautiful. I liked how everything was organized, with labels shown on small screens. The food was excellent, though the table service could be improved—it sometimes took a while to clear our plates. We went for breakfast, and I highly recommend the delicious grits, homemade omelets, and kielbasa sausage. One area for improvement would be the omelet station layout, as raw ingredients were easy for customers to access. In fact, someone accidentally picked up a raw egg thinking it was hard-boiled. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience!
I visited Rainmaker Buffet at Foxwoods a few weeks ago shortly after it opened, and while the remodeling looked amazing, both the food and service left much to be desired. After sharing my feedback, I was told improvements were on the way. I went back last night and was happy to find the food was excellent and the staff attentive, even during a busy evening. The change was impressive. I’ll definitely be returning. My father, who joined me both times, agreed. Great job on turning things around! It really shows the value of listening to customers. I’d give the food and atmosphere five stars!
For the last 20 years that know of, my family has been coming to Foxwoods at least weekly from Boston but since the closing of the buffet we haven’t been back because of that. We have spent an exuberant amount of money here for the past two decades and when the buffet comes back so will we. It sucks there has been no communication and a run around as to why it’s closed or if/when it will be open again. It was amazing and I still say it had some of the best food I’ve ever had but since it closed it really makes me not want to go spend money there or stay overnight like we used to.

I'm quite disappointed that there hasn't been any communication regarding when the restaurant will reopen, or if it even will. Every answer I’ve seen seems to avoid the issue. We understand there are other dining options available; everyone is aware of that. This lack of clarity is preventing many people, including myself, from returning.
So many options. Definitely worth it if your trying to eat more than usual.. if your not hungry hungry then it's expensive to just eat one plate but if your going to go ham then it's worth it
When are you opening up my mother and I haven't been to the casino in 2 years can't wait to go back and also eat the buffet
One of the main attractions of Foxwoods is the buffet. For me, if there’s no buffet, there’s really no reason to visit.
