I've been living in Springfield Missouri for over a year now and when I found this place I absolutely loved it. I've been eating from this place once a month since I found it. But now I've noticed a significant change in quality. I don't know if there was a change in owners or just a change in staff but there was more of an array of races who worked there previously and now it's predominantly white college kids. The last time I went there I ordered a Iced Thai tea and there was so many tea leaves at the bottom of my drink. It's like they didn't even bother to strain the tea. the first time here when family came to town and wanted to thai. how the house was converted into function as restaurant. many employees who offer good service. we made a reservation as we had a party of seven and a small child. we were in our own room, which gave the little more room to move around and make noise. had several appetizers to share and the crab rangoons were the best I ever had. We're fine. I had the pad thai bark with a spicy level of 4. it was not as spicy as I predicted, but it was great texture and taste. we will return.

we ordered 3 items. paneng, stir fried rice with pineapple and pad thai. the paneng (sp) came more like red curry than with any peanut aroma. we were a little disappointed. Stir-Friy was pretty good. the pad thai was also quite good. we were too many and many Thai sites and despite our enthusiastic hope for a super-doooer restaurant it was simply not. Maybe it was a free day for her. the personal was great! So, not sure what happened this day. give them an attempt to see if it is true to their palate.

My favorite place to eat out or have a business meeting. If someone comes from out of town I say hey stay at walnut street inn then I always treat them to a meal here . Staff , environment, food , price . No complaints! They get really crowded some times that why I haven’t wrote a review now I’m done being selfish . Super cute place!! The staff is very welcoming and helpful. And of course the food is amazing!!Parking: Most parking is street parking, very small lot out back

I really enjoyed the delicious food at this restaurant, and I appreciated the fact that it was located in a registered historical site.
