Decided to stop by RAMBERTO'S TACO SHOP after a long drive. Beforehand we checked RAMBERTO'S TACO SHOP menu to see if we liked how they prepared carne asada fries and cali burritos. We paid 14.99 for fries 10.99 for a burrito. Our food didn't come as described. I may be hangry right now, but for taco shop prices like this I'm pretty disappointed.The cali burrito was missing sour cream and avocado. It was only carne asada, cheese, fries. :(Carne asada fries was missing sour cream and had a sprinkle of cheese on the corner. :(We were hungry and had a far drive back so dealt with it, and drenched our food in mediocre salsa.Thanks RAMBERTO'S TACO SHOP I feel pretty ripped off.
I ordered the carne asada torta, and even though there were only two cars ahead of us, the delivery was quite fast. Unfortunately, the food was cold, including the bread. The salsa was disappointing, and while the rolled tacos were crunchy, they were just okay. Given the number of customers in line, there was more than enough time to serve the food hot. Overall, it wasn't a great experience.
Their sauce is blended with something else; I'm not exactly sure what, but if you try it on its own, you'll understand what I mean—it's not good! The portion sizes are decent, but the ingredients don't taste fresh. I would only come here if it's an absolute necessity.

Terrible experience all around! The service was the worst I've ever encountered. The staff was unprofessional and rude. The food was extremely dry—my carne asada fries and carne asada burrito were no good at all. I definitely won't be coming back!
I was surprised to see a bean and cheese burrito priced at nine dollars. They even charge extra for hot sauce! These prices feel more suited to a hipster area rather than the border of Encanto and Spring Valley.
Bean cheese for $10!!! Horchata for $5!!! What a Rip off! The worst part is the beans are from a can, and horchata is not hand made. I wouldn't mind paying if both were made in house. SMH
The food is overpriced. I bought three rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese $8.69. That's ridiculous and they weren't even that good. The lady at the tri-to window was rude as hell.

The best late-night drive-thru in Spring Valley. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently great.
No matter what alterations you make your food, they are happy to do it. Large portions.
