One of my favorite dishes was the crabby grilled cheese—it was delicious! However, I gave the restaurant four stars instead of five for three reasons. First, there were some inconsistencies with the food: the rockfish bites were bland, the Maryland crab soup arrived cold, and my crabby grilled cheese was also served cold, though it still tasted good. Second, despite a few no smoking signs, there’s a designated smoking area nearby, and when the wind shifts, the smoke becomes quite strong. Incredible food, breathtaking scenery, and outstanding staff. Visiting from out of town, I was genuinely impressed by this place. The outdoor dining area is set on a peaceful sandy beach lined with palm trees and tables—absolutely beautiful. The service was exceptional; our waitress was friendly, attentive, and frequently stopped by to check on us. In fact, several staff members checked in throughout our visit. The food arrived promptly, and my drink was always topped up. The prices were very reasonable as well. I return to Maryland often and always make a point to visit. A truly fantastic experience.
The food was quite good, and my wife and I definitely had a unique experience. A coworker recommended Rams Head Dockside, so we decided to give it a try. I've heard that it's especially wonderful in the spring and summer due to the beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere is certainly distinctive. Our waitress, Britney, made us feel very relaxed and at home. She was an excellent server, and thanks to her and the quality of the food, I can see myself returning to this place. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that there was a live performer!
I had lunch indoors at Rams Head Dockside with my team and I wasn?t disappointed. The fried green tomato BLT is delicious. First time here and I shall revisit another day with a better weather so I can enjoy the beach buckets on the sand with a great view of the water. The food at Rams Head Dockside is fantastic. My only complaint, from both visits, was the service. It’s not that the staff were unfriendly—they were actually great—but everything took a long time, even just getting our sodas and water. That made a big difference, especially with two hungry teens with me. The slow service was a real downside.
A hidden gem! I never expected to find such a place in Glen Bernie. The stunning water views and beachy atmosphere made me forget I was even in Glen Bernie. Our server was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. We tried all their recommendations and loved every dish, especially the Crushing the Cherries cocktail.
Rams Head Dockside is an excellent spot for families, where children can enjoy playing in the sand as everyone appreciates the beautiful scenery. The seafood was outstanding, though the salads were fairly ordinary. The service was top-notch and very welcoming.
Fantastic half-price appetizers and discounted drinks during happy hour. The crab dishes are amazing starters! Don’t miss Monday’s lobster night. The stunning view perfectly captures a southern vibe.

Fun place for the family where kids can play in the sand and everyone can enjoy the fabulous view. Seafood was great. The salads are ok. Excellent and friendly service.
