Ranas was a delightful find in Spring Valley. A friend recommended this place, and it was perfect for breakfast. I tried the rajas con huevos and the pambazo filled with chorizo and potatoes. The flavors of the pambazo were vibrant and hit all the right notes. The rajas con huevos was also very tasty and fresh. The customer service was excellent, the seating area was clean, and the patio added a nice touch. I’ll definitely be returning! Enjoy your meal!
Coming from Texas, I’m not used to experiencing good customer service in California, but this place stands out as a rare gem. I wholeheartedly recommend it, not just for the fantastic food but for the whole experience—it’s the complete package. I’ve visited a few times now and still love it. My wife is a huge fan of the tortas, and I can’t get enough of the Ranas! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend making the drive; it’s definitely worth it!
The rest of my family had an okay experience, but I ordered enchiladas and the red sauce came LOADED with spice. I couldn't taste the actual dish at all? it completely totaled my experience. I'm Mexican and have been to many good Mexican restaurantsand never experienced this. My family agreed that dish was god awful. I simply can't recommend
One of my favorite Mexican cuisine restaurants in San Diego!! Food is amazing, the staff is also as amazing. I will highly recommend their Cafe Ola, one of thr best coffees I've had. And if you can handle the chili-heat, try their Entomatado Hurechas,another favorite of mine. Reserva una mesa ahora
The food is wonderful. The servers were friendly and we appreciated that the owner stopped by to introduce himself and talk about the food. Don't go for breakfast without trying the Café de olla. We'll definitely be back (again and again)
Absolutely delicious! This has become my new favorite spot in the area. I love that they offer a variety of menu options that are different from the usual choices found in most restaurants.
We absolutely loved the Pambazo and Milanese Huarache! The flavors were incredible. If you haven't tried Rana's yet, you need to go today!
