I really like this restaurant food is tasty and they have good options to choose from (not to big not to small). Service is fast and attention is on a different level. They took care of us as soon we walked through the door. Staff is very friendly and courteous. One of the owners was there and we make sure that we were confortable and that food was perfect for us; Flavor and temperature. I was recommended to this place by someone and I don?t regret coming here! I definitely recommend this place as well and I must come back to try their famous margaritas and their Amazing selection of beverages during happy hour. Best Mexican food that I've had in awhile. Service was outstanding. We had a group of 20, but got the attention like a single 4 top. Recommendations were spot on. Beer selection is wider than just Mexican beers. Several micro brews on tap, even a delicious pineapple cider. I highly recommend Ranas. Everyone in my party left full and satisfied. Five stars do not give them justice.

The rest of my family had a great experience, but I ordered the enchiladas, and the red sauce was extremely spicy. I could barely taste the dish itself. As a Mexican who has visited many excellent Mexican restaurants, I found this surprising. My family, on the other hand, thought their meals were excellent. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place based on my experience.

Smaller venue with an outdoor patio. A family owned business, so you notice there's extra care taken in the preparation of your food. One of my favorite Mexican cuisine restaurants in San Diego!! Food is amazing, the staff is also so amazing. I'll recommend her Cafe Ola, one of the best coffees I had. And if you can treat the chili heats, try their Entomatado Hurechas, another favorite of me.

The food is amazing! The staff were friendly, and we really appreciated that the owner took the time to chat with us about the dishes. Make sure to try the Café de Olla—it's a must for breakfast. We will definitely be returning (time and time again)!
