I recently ordered delivery from Rang Mahal. They delivered within an hour, which is a plus, but they forgot one of the items I ordered, so I spent the next ten minutes trying to get in touch with them to resolve it. The food wasn't very warm when it arrived, likely due to the time I spent on hold. The butter chicken had a thick and dense tomato paste base, which was decent, but not quite what I expected from a butter chicken. The lamb rogan josh was a bit bland. Overall, this first impression was disappointing, and unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.
On a positive note, the food was really nice, and the portions of meat in the main dishes were generous. I suspect I didn’t pay the full price due to the voucher. We could have addressed the missing appetizers and naan with the staff, but we felt we had enough food.
