Not worth the money. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, it was very cramped. My food wasn‘t properly cooked and lacked taste. Since it’s one big room, it‘s very loud. The pricing in general is much too high considering the quality experience. The staff is visibly stressed. The only possible time to have a nice meal with family may be when it‘s not sunny and the restaurant isn‘t packed, but even then the food would sadly taste the same. The view is nice, though.
Skip that restaurant, they don’t like when you share your ice cream with your loved one. Just like at the Walliserkanne in Zermatt, the owner of the Raten also broke the law, defied Covid rules and screened a controversial misleading film during the pandemic. I’ll never spend a dime there again!
Been here many times for lunch. This time for dinner. Although weirdly very quiet for a Friday evening, the service and food were excellent. We think it was inclement weather and the night before Xmas Eve put folk off from venturing up the mountain. This restaurant is consistently good.
Very unfriendly reception. Were 'ordered ' to another table with the assistance dogs, even though all tables were free and not reserved upon request. We decided to leave immediately and were then roughly escorted out. We can 't say anything about the quality of the food. Reserva una mesa ahora
The restaurant/caffè’ is in a beautiful location with spectacular views and sunsets. Friendly staff! Very nice homemade cakes and hot drinks! Delicious homemade chai latte and cassis punch (non-alcoholic). There is also a restaurant service which we will try next time!
Fantastic evening drink with the setting sun. A lovely place to use as a vase for a walk. We were thrilled to find a window spot. Great service, lovely drinks and sone fabulous ice creams
There is also space for a hiking group, reserved in advance. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, good food, delicious dessert. Fantastic view
