We were so tired having a trip by ICE for hours. Arrived at pm in Magdeburg, we decided to eat in this restaurant. Kids were starving and wanted Spätzle noodle. Of course it was not on the menu. I guess Magdeburg offered more...Knödel from potato than noodle. In the end, they found the Kinder menu Sniposa (Schnitzel, Pommes, Salat) got They were happy to eat the flat pork meat, French fries and a bit carrot. I preferred the deer „Hirschgulasch“ with boiled red cabbage. Yummy! My husband tried a delicious pork steak. Tante with a good duck and uncle had a nice Kasseler pork with Krokette fried potatoes. Before eating we ordered beverages. I drank orange juice, kids sprite and the other adults...
Wir sind hier für warme Füße und einen doppelten Espresso eingekehrt. Direkt beim Eintreten wird man mit dem Charme eines Wiener Kaffehauses eingenommen. Die klassische Aufteilung mit (Kuchen Tresen unmittelbarer nach dem Eingang und Gästeplätzen auf einer etwas erhöhten Stufe sowie sehr freundlichem Personal hat uns hier zum längerfristigen Verweilen eingeladen. Obwohl die eigentliche Kaffezeit vorüber war, konnten uns sowohl der Windbeutel als auch die Marzipan Torte begeistern. Aufmerksames und freundliches Personal hat den Besuch schön abgerundet. Wenn wir die Gelegenheit haben, kommen wir gerne wieder.
it is not always easy to get a table on Saturdays at lunchtime in the rathaus café. the service staff, however, was looking and led us to a free table, quickly brought the menu and also asked for drinks. The menu offers solid German cuisine to absolutely fair trips. every one who likes it occasionally should be joined here. I chose the magdeburger brewmastersteak - more a cordon bleu than a steak, but it was delicious anyway. which was not so great, unfortunately, was the air, which was too warm and consumed. otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
at the rande of the ITB trade fair in berlin I returned to magdeburg to taste green cabbage, a speciality of this opposite, well-remembered, nothing gourmet, but personally they remind me of past times and have their own taste, which explains the realities of these countries. In the morning it also rolls on the market before it, but also a well made carving and a very honest beer.

Das Essen war miserabel-einfach nur schlecht und billig! Ein lasches Fischfilet mit einem faden Gurkensalat,einem Krautsalat ,einem Schnitz Tomate,einer Pellkartoffel und einer undefinierbaren Senfsoße…. Musste 2/3 zurückgeben,weil mir fast schlecht war….. Schade um jeden Cent!!!
originally attempted to go to the ruthless, but was closed and went purely by chance here and was not disappointed. had the white asparagus with carrots and carvings. beautiful. great service also with friendly staff.
we passed by the cafe rathaus, which is very quiet on the market and you can sit nicely outside we arrived.We had the magdeburger braumeistersteak - a cordon bleu - until the mushroom sauce it was very good.
with the service we were satisfied. the portions were not very large and tastefully we were not convinced. the ambiente is very antik.The next evening we went to eat in our holiday in other restaurants.

Dieses kleine Café kann mann weiter empfehlen. Wir kommen alle vier Wochen hin.Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Macht weiter so!
