Fantastic authentic beer hall beers and food. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, we arrived at 6pm on a beautiful summer afternoon, so unsurprisingly the huge amount of outside tables were booked. The hostess suggested we could have a drink outside in the sun until the tables were required and then she would find us a table inside for food. We had a beer taster of 6 beers and the hostess added two others to try, fantastic wheat, blonde, dark etc selection. Glad we ate inside so we could see the interior of this amazing characterful building. Fantastic food and good advice from the waitress on what to order.

Jason and the rest of the staff were kind and efficient. The setting—around the fountain in the Burgplatz right outside the Neues Rathaus in its cellar… obviously! —was delightful on a warm summer evening. The menu is extensive, high-quality, and well-described I only had wine and the house kräuterliqör, both great , but hope to come back to try their beers.

Amazing service from our waitress Lena! Very attentive and recommended great food and drink. I had the entrecote steak, it was perfectly seasoned and expertly cooked medium rare. Highly recommend! Thank you Lena and the RatKeller.

Great food and drink with great service. Food on time with a good choice on the menu. But closed too early on a Monday night 22:00, no more food or drinks

Fine prices were not as good as some other places for the type of food we got, but it was pleasant and the outdoor seating on the Platz was nice.
